The Panorama LMS Accessibility Platform helps your institution enhance the accessibility of digital content and offer alternative formats to support users with diverse learning needs. Panorama integrates seamlessly with all major Learning Management Systems (LMS), including Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, and D2L Brightspace.

Reports:
- LMS Report: Access the overall accessibility performance of your LMS, including the cumulative accessibility score and analytics of all courses.
- Issues Report: View all issues across your institution and the number of times they appear in each course.
- Content Report: Access a summary of the file uploaded and Alternative Formats downloaded for your institution.
- Storage Report: View a summary of the storage used by your institution, aggregated by time and document type.
- Course Report: Both instructors and admins can view course accessibility scores, popular downloads, and a content summary of the selected course.
- AutoPilot Report: The overall usage of AutoPilot across your institution.
- Website Report: View a summary of your institution's usage on the Website Accessibility Widget, organized by content and color adjustment.
- Workflow: A built-in project management tool that allows institutions to organize and track accessibility improvements directly within Panorama.

Configuration: Admins can adjust how Panorama is enabled across the LMS.
- General Settings: Access the institution settings, course settings, and user settings for Panorama.
- Scope Settings: Select a scope to enable Panorama for: all scannable courses, selected Canvas accounts only, or selected courses only.
- Scoring Model: Customize the accessibility scoring rubric to determine how accessibility scores are calculated across your institution.
- Roster Management: Manage user roles in Panorama by adjusting permissions for existing users synced through LMS or adding new users outside the LMS to Panorama.

Understanding Accessibility Score Icons
Panorama will generate Accessibility Scores for DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, PDF, HTML, GIF, XLS, XLSX, ODT, ODP, ODS, RTF file types, and editable HTML pages.
Accessibility score icons are displayed next to each file type or at the top of HTML content. These icons use color coding to give you a quick visual summary of the accessibility score. Refer to the default accessibility score icons below to understand what each color indicates:

- Blue circle icon: Accessibility icon (Student View)
- Dark Green octagon icon: Very high accessibility scores
- Green hexagon icon: High accessibility scores
- Yellow triangle icon: Medium accessibility scores
- Red hexagon icon: Low accessibility scores
- Red rounded hexagon icon: Very low accessibility scores
- Grey prohibition icon: Your institution has disabled the alternative formats for this document
- Purple circle icon: The file is being processed for accessibility
Note: As an admin, you can customize the accessibility icons and colors by navigating to Configurations > Branding Settings > Accessibility Icons.
Resolving Accessibility Issues in the Accessibility Report
Accessibility Reports offer a comprehensive list of accessibility issues detected within files and provide actionable options to address and resolve issues for content within the LMS.
- Open the Accessibility Report by either:
- Within your LMS, click the Accessibility Score icon next to your file.
- Within Panorama, select DocHub from the side navbar and click your desired file, then click Accessibility Report.
- Resolve the accessibility issue by:
- Using AutoPilot: Automatically proposes fixes for accessibility issues, which can be applied to your document immediately. Learn more about using AutoPilot.
- Clicking Fix Issue: Manually add fixes for accessibility issues within the report, then apply those changes to your document.
- Clicking Learn more: View the how-to-fix guides for fixing the accessibility issues manually. Institution admins can adjust the how-to-fix guides according to the institution's accessibility practices.
- Replacing the document: Replace the original document with a more accessible version.
Accessing the Alternative Formats Menu

- Source File: View the document in its original format, suitable for download or viewing.
- PDF: View the document in PDF format, suitable for both online and download viewing.
- Text File: View the document in a pure text format without any formatting styles, suitable for both online and download viewing.
- Immersive Reader: Allows for customizations to text preferences, grammar options, and reading preferences while following along with the audio playback.
- Gradient Reader: Enhances visual word recognition when reading by providing a guiding color gradient.
- EPUB: View the document in the ebook format, suitable for any ebook reader application.
- Braille: View the document in the Braille grade 2 format, suitable for download viewing (a braille reader is required).
- Audio Podcast: Audio playback for documents, suitable for both online and download listening.
- CustomAccess Formats: Enables students to request course materials in personalized formats created by instructors or YuJa's accessibility experts.
- Enhanced HTML: HTML documents will be displayed in a dedicated tab to customize the document's appearance using the Website Accessibility tool.

OCR: Convert images with text into machine-encoded text that can be searched and read by screen readers.
- OCR Overlaid Tagged PDF: Generate a tagged PDF that allows for selectable text overlaid on the original scanned document or image.
- OCR Reconstructed DOCX: Generate a new DOCX file from scanned documents or images.
- OCR Reconstructed Tagged PDF: Generate a brand new tagged PDF from the scanned document or image.
- OCR Reconstructed HTML: Generate a new HTML file from scanned documents or images.
- OCR Text: Recommended for those who prefer plain text, the OCR tool extracts and displays text within images and GIFs as a TXT file.
- OCR Immersive Reader: Use the immersive reader for OCR content.
- OCR Audio: Extract text within images and GIFs into an MP3 text-to-speech audio player.

Math Formats: Convert documents containing math equations into LaTeX, Math Text (i.e., numbers and symbols to words), or MP3 files.
- Latex: Convert documents into LaTeX document format.
- Math Text: Convert documents into printed English, including numbers and symbols.
- Math Audio: Convert documents to MP3.
- MathML: Extract mathematical equations from documents and convert them into HTML files.
- Language Translation: Translate a document automatically to over 100 languages, which can be downloaded.
Website Accessibility Widget
The Website Accessibility Widget is an advanced AI-powered web plugin designed to improve the accessibility of your website or enterprise system. It offers a range of textual accommodations, color customizations, and other content adjustments, which can be saved as profiles to access anytime. Learn more.

- Summary: Quickly apply profiles, color, or content adjustments to your page.

Color Adjustments: Create an accessible viewing experience by adjusting contrast and saturation, highlighting specific elements, changing text colors, and more.

Content Adjustments: Adjust the content on a web page by modifying the line height, letter spacing, and font selection to create a readable and accessible viewing experience.
- Preferences: Provides the option to temporarily or permanently hide the Website Accessibility Widget icon.

Profiles: Select a predefined set of accessibility improvements, such as the ADHD profile, which removes visual clutter and provides a reading mask, or the Seizure & Epileptic profile, which eliminates blinking, flashing, or flickering visuals.
- Formats: View a list of all documents found on the web page.
LMS Content Designer
The Accessibility Design Tool is part of our vision to provide a more modern and capable WYSIWYG design interface to ensure that more accessible content is created right from the start within editable HTML areas in your LMS. View an overview of features offered by the LMS Content Designer below.
- Edits: Customize your inserted structures, elements, navigations, lists, and embedded content.
- Insert: Select items to add to your editable HTML area to begin creating accessible content.
- Templates: Save and reuse designs created with the LMS Content Designer in other areas of your LMS.
- Themes: Provides the option to save an item's color, spacing, and sizing to create its personalized style. Items can then be grouped into a Theme that can be saved and used when creating new designs.
