If Live Check-In is selected as the proctoring method when creating a Verity-enabled assessment in Blackboard, Canvas, D2L Brightspace, or Moodle, proctors can resolve misconducts as they occur.
Resolving Misconducts
- Log in to your LMS and access YuJa Verity, located within your course.
- Select Live Check-In Proctoring from the left-side navigation menu.
-
A list of test takers will begin to populate as they begin their assessment. The Flag Level column will keep track of any misconduct that occurs. To resolve misconducts, click the vertical ellipses under the Actions icon for the desired test-taker, and select Analyze.
- You will have access to the test-taker's session recording up to this point. Use the progress bar to navigate directly to any misconduct for review.
- Optional: If you wish to speak with the test-taker for further clarification, select Live Check-In from the Actions menu instead of Analyze. This will allow you to establish an audio bridge connection with the test-taker.
-
If you're sure you'd like to resolve the flagged misconduct, click the Actions icon next to it in the table on the right, then select Resolve.
-
In the Comment section, enter an explanation for why you're resolving the issue and then click Resolve.
