YuJa Verity for Test Proctoring allows instructors to curate and assign proctored quizzes to students to ensure the security of quizzes taken from remote locations. Students can then access and take quizzes directly in their LMS. Please follow the steps below to learn how to create a Verity-enabled quiz in D2L Brightspace.
Downloading the YuJa Verity Plugin
All first-time users will need to download the YuJa Verity browser plugin to authenticate themselves before creating a proctored quiz.
- To download the YuJa Verity plugin, access D2L Brightspace through any one of the supported browsers for Verity: Google Chrome, Opera, Microsoft Edge, or Brave. For the most reliable proctoring session, we recommend using Google Chrome.
- In D2L Brightspace, select the course you wish to create a quiz for and click Content from the top navigation bar.
- Locate the YuJa Verity tool and click Open Link.
- Click Link to install YuJa Verity Plugin to access the Chrome Web Store and download the plugin.
