Instructors with Blackboard Ultra accounts integrated with third-party assessment tools can embed their third-party assignments directly into Blackboard Ultra with YuJa Verity enabled. If your third-party tool is not integrated with Blackboard Ultra, you can still create a third-party proctored assessment with Verity.
- Log in to Blackboard Ultra as an Administrator. In the sidebar menu, click on Courses.

Select the course you would like to add your third-party assessment to.

Click on the plus sign below Course Content.

Next, click Create.

In the Create Item menu, select Teaching tools with LTI connection.

Choose a title for your assessment. Next, copy and paste your LTI link supplied by your third-party assessment provider in the Configuration URL field.

Click Save.

The third-party assessment will appear under Course Content. Click the More Options button > Edit.
- In the sidebar menu, the YuJa Verity Test Proctoring checkbox will appear.

Check the box to open the YuJa Verity Setup Proctoring modal.
- To set a password for your assessment, select Yes under Password-Protected Assessment.

Choose a password for your assessment, then click Next.

Choose your proctoring method, then click Next.

Choose your proctoring profile, then click Next. If you have not created a proctoring profile before, please refer to this guide.

Review your settings and click Confirm.

Your proctoring configurations will save automatically and apply to the assessment. Click Save in the bottom right corner to complete the process.
