In order to allow your test-takers to take a proctored assessment in a managed guest session, you must enable managed guest sessions in Verity.
Before You Start
Make sure that you have set up managed guest sessions for your Chromebooks. If you haven't set up managed guest sessions yet, refer to this guide.
Requiring Managed Guest Sessions in Verity
- Log into YuJa Verity.
- Navigate to Settings > Institution Settings.
- Scroll down to Require Managed Guest Session for Chromebook Lockdown Assessments, enable the toggle, then click Confirm.
- Click Save Changes. Now, test-takers will be required to use a managed guest session to complete a proctored assessment on Chromebook.
Creating a Managed Guest Session Assessment in Verity
- Log into Verity to create an assessment, or create the assessment in your LMS. For more help on creating a proctored assessment, refer to these guides.
- Configure proctoring settings for your assessment. When choosing a platform, select Desktop Lockdown Module > Allow Chromebook Lockdown App.
- Complete the Setup Proctoring process. Your assessment will now require test-takers to use a managed guest session.
