As an admin, you can integrate your 3Play Media account with Lumina to enable live, human-created captions for live streams and enhanced audio descriptions for recorded videos. Lumina also supports 3Play Media integration for human-generated captions for recorded videos.
Note: Live human captioning is only available for live streams scheduled on the Hardware Hub. To request Human-Enhanced Audio Descriptions from 3Play Media, the feature must be enabled by your Client Success Manager either before or after you complete the integration.
Before You Start
- Get or create your API V3 Keys.
Integrating 3Play Media with Lumina
- Log in to Lumina as an admin.
- Click the Main Menu button > Admin Panel.
- In the sidebar, select Integrations.
- From the Select Integration drop-down menu, select Captioning - 3Play Media.
- Enable the 3Play Media Captioning toggle.
- In the Live Streaming and Human-Enhanced Audio Descriptions section, click Add Captioning Service.
- Enter the required information:
- Captioning Service Name: Enter a name for this integration.
- API V3 Key: Enter your API V3 key.
- API V3 Secret Key: Enter the same API V3 key.
- Click Add Provider to complete the integration.
- Click Save.
