Once you have added Engage to PowerPoint, you can begin inserting activities or create new ones.
Logging in to the Engage Add-in
- Launch PowerPoint and click on the YuJa Engage tab.
- Click Login.
- Enter your Organization and select your preferred Login Method to access Engage.
- Enter the required information and click LOG IN.
Inserting an Activity into PowerPoint
- Launch PowerPoint and select the YuJa Engage tab.
- Click Insert. Note: You can create a new activity to insert by selecting Create Poll or Create Attendance.
- Select the activity you wish to insert.
- Click Insert Activity. Each question will be added as a new slide at the end of your presentation. You may choose to add additional activities if desired.
Presenting Your Activities in PowerPoint
Once you've added your activities to your PowerPoint presentation, you can begin presenting so that participants can answer questions.
- Begin your slide show.
- When the Poll Title slide appears, allow participants time to join the poll using the QR code or by visiting your Engage domain and signing in or joining as a guest.
- Once participants have joined, continue to the next slide. The first question will automatically be shared with the participants, and you will receive a live update of responses.
- Once all questions have been shared, participants can exit the activity, and results can be reviewed in the Engage gradebook.
