Engage confirms participant attendance through location data and participant answers. The attendance data can be viewed in and synced with the learning management system (LMS) grade book.
Creating an Attendance
- Access Engage through the course in your LMS.
- In the side navbar, select Activities.
- Click Create Attendance.
- Select Sync with Grade Book or No Grade Book Sync. If the attendance is embedded in an LMS, results will be synced to the LMS gradebook.
- Select Select a Course or Embed Manually.
- Click Add a Question.
- Enter a title and question.
- Enter the correct answer.
- (Optional) Select the Create a geofence checkbox. Select a location on the map and enter the radius for your geofence. Participants will be required to be inside the geofence to be marked as present.
Note: You can create a predefined geofence list to save frequently used locations. - Click Save and release the attendance.
