The Verity Assessment Builder allows you to create and publish proctored assessments to your LMS directly from the Verity interface. In this guide, we will take you through creating a proctored quiz and a proctored assignment using the Verity Assessment Builder.
Creating a Proctored Quiz in the Verity Assessment Builder
- Log in to Verity via the LTI link in your LMS.
- Go to Proctored Assessments in the menu, then click Create Assessment.
- Click Verity Assessment > Next.
- Click Quiz > Next.
- Configure settings for your quiz, then click Next once you're satisfied with all settings.

Choose a question to add to your quiz. To add a new question, click Add Question. Once you're happy with all your questions, click Next. The Verity Assessment Builder offers the following question types:
- Multiple Choice
- True or False
- Matching
- Fill in the Blank
- Choose your proctoring method, then click Next.
- Choose your proctoring profile, then click Next. For more assistance on proctoring profiles, please refer to this guide.
- Once you're happy with your proctoring configurations, click Save and Publish. The quiz should automatically be published to your LMS course.
Creating a Proctored Assignment in the Verity Assessment Builder
- Log in to Verity via the LTI link in your LMS.
- Go to Proctored Assessments in the menu, then click Create Assessment.
- Click Verity Assessment > Next.
- Click Assignment > Next.
- Configure settings for your assignment, then click Next once you're satisfied with all settings.

Provide instructions for your assignment. You can also click Attach Files to attach any files to your instructions. Once you're happy with your instructions, click Next.
- Choose your proctoring method, then click Next.
- Choose your proctoring profile, then click Next. For more assistance on proctoring profiles, please refer to this guide.
- Once you're happy with your proctoring configurations, click Save and Publish. The assignment should automatically be published to your LMS course.
