Branding allows organizations to make visual changes to the Video Platform, including color, logo and image. They may also make specific Theme selections for the Media Player. Branding settings are available to Administrators from the Admin Panel’s Branding tab.
Navigating to the Branding and Customization Menu
The Branding and Customization menu can only be accessed by an Administrator.
- Log into the Video Platform as an Administrator.
- From the right-hand corner, click the Main Menu icon and select Admin Panel.
- From the left-hand navigation menu, select Branding.
Selecting Colors for the Video Platform
Customize the Video Platform experience using Branding tools to select colors throughout the Video Platform. All colors should be entered using a HTML color code.
- Navigate to the Platform Colors section.
- Enter the desired colors for individual parts of the Video Platform’s interface, including the Nav Bar, Folder Palette, Login, EnterpriseTube, Dashboard Top Bar and Sidebar.
- Nav Bar: The Nav Bar color changes the EnterpriseTube banner color.

Login Dropdown: The Login Dropdown color changes the color of the dropdown menu after clicking area highlighted in lavender.

Highlight & Login Button: The Highlight & Login Button color changes the color of these two buttons highlighted in lavender.

Login Widget Text: The Login Widget text color changes the text color highlighted in lavender.

Focus: The focus color changes the selection color for the EnterpriseTube. This example shows the black focus color when selecting Organization.

Navbar Font Color: Changes the font color on the EnterpriseTube banner. In this example the font color is Black.

- Login Page Text: Changes the text color on the EnterpriseTube login page. In this example, the login page text color is white.

Manage Media: The Manage Media color changes the font color of Manage Media in the Dashboard Top Bar. The font color of this example is white.

Create Recording: The Create Recording color changes the font color of Creating Recording in the Dashboard Top Bar. The font color of this example is white.

Video Conference: The Video Conference color changes the font color of Video Conference in the Dashboard top Bar. The font color of this example is white.

Background: The Background changes the background color of the Dashboard Top Bar. This example is purple.

Demarcation Lines: The Demarcation lines change the line colors in-between Manage Media and Video Conference in the Dashboard Top Bar.

- Sidebar: The sidebar is located in the admin panel. Changing the color of the sidebar changes its background. In this example the sidebar is dark blue
- Sidebar Highlight: The sidebar highlight is the color when a panel is selected. In this example the sidebar is light blue:
- Nav Bar: The Nav Bar color changes the EnterpriseTube banner color.
- Sidebar Folder Section:
- Folder Section: The Folder Section is the color of the Section Titles. In this example, the Selection Titles are ‘Personal’ and ‘Shared’
- Folder Name: The Folder Name is the font color when you hover over a folder. In this example, the font color is light Blue when hovering over ‘My Media’
- Selected Folder: When folders are selected, they're highlighted. In this example, the Selected Folder is Lavender
- Section Divider: The line dividing sections. In this example the line is above ‘Shared’ and is light blue
3. Click Save at the bottom of the Branding page.
Creating Media Player Options
Below are the steps to access the primary Media Player Theme Settings under the Admin Panel. All colors should be entered using the HTML color code. To learn more about advanced Media Player Customizations, click here.
- Navigate to the Media Player Theme Settings.
- Choose the Create New button under the Media Player Theme Settings.
- Make selections for the Media Player Theme using for the Primary and Secondary Buttons, Setting Menu, Setting Text, Playbar, Play Bar Style and Default Player View.
- Select Save.
Enabling Exam Proctoring Terms and Conditions
Organizations can prompt users to accept or decline an organization specific Terms and Conditions the first time they launch the Exam Proctoring solution. If the Terms and Conditions are updated, users will be re-prompted to accept or decline.
- Navigate to the Exam Proctoring Terms and Conditions File section.
- To upload a PDF Terms and Conditions file, select Choose File.
- To download the current PDF Terms and Conditions file, select Download.
Enabling Video Platform Terms and Conditions File
Organizations can prompt users to accept or decline an organization specific Terms and Conditions the first time they log into or access the Video Platform. This ensures that user information like their First Name, Last Name or email address are not passed from the LMS or SSO to the Video Platform until the user accepts the Terms and Conditions.
- Navigate to the Terms and Conditions File section.
- To enable Terms and Conditions for new Users, select the Show Terms and Conditions checkbox.
- To upload a PDF Terms and Conditions file, select Choose File.
- To download the current PDF Terms and Conditions file, select Download.
Choosing Branding Options
Create Footers and specify Date and Time Formats to allow consistent branding and marketing across the Video Platform zone.
- Incorporate desired Footer Content in the Video Platform using the Platform Footer, Analytics Integration and Login Page Footer.
- Copy and paste Analytics code into the Analytics Integration box.
- Select the desired Date Format.
- Select the desired Time Format.
- Select the Default Auto-Transcription Language for your organization.
- To complete all changes, click Save at the bottom of the Branding tab.
Choosing a Default Login Method
Organizations may choose from a list of default Login Methods depending on what integration has been enabled for their zone.
- Select YuJa Login to login using Video Platform Credentials.
- Choose SSO login to default to Single-Sign-On.
- To disable the option to login using Video Platform Credentials, select Disable YuJa Platform Credentials for Non-Admin Users.
- Click Save to save your selections.
Choosing a Default Course Invitation Login Method
Organizations may choose the default login method to accept a course invitation sent via Courses & Groups.
- Enable SSO login to allow users to log in using their Single-Sign-On credentials.
- Enable Create New User to allow new users to create a YuJa account.
- Enable Use Existing User to allow the existing user to login using YuJa Credentials.
- Click Save to save your selections.
Adding Logo Placements
The Video Platform may also be branded with individual logos. Individual logo placements can be chosen through the Branding page.
- Choose individual logos for various placements.
- Upload a small non-transparent logo which will appear on the EnterpriseTube. This should be 300 x 90 pixels.
- Upload a small transparent logo for the Main Menu dropdown, as well as the YuJa Software Capture Application. This should be 300 x 90 pixels.
- Upload a large non-transparent logo which will appear when users access a Video Conference session. This should be 300 x 124 pixels.
- Upload a large transparent logo for the zone's login portal. This should be 300 x 124 pixels.
- Click Save to save the logo placements.
Setting a Login Background
The Login Background completes the Video Platform Branding.
