As an administrator, you can customize the look of Panorama and the Website Accessibility Widget to match your institution’s branding, such as adjusting colors, logos, and images. Additionally, you can edit the how-to-fix guides for various accessibility and usability issues according to your institution's accessibility requirements.
Customizing the Accessibility Icons
Accessibility icons are placed next to a document in your LMS to indicate their accessibility performance. You can click the icon to access the Alternative Formats Menu and view the Accessibility Report of your document.
- Log in to Panorama as an admin.
- Hover over the left side panel.
- Click Configuration, then select Branding Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select Accessibility Icons from the top navbar.
- In the Accessibility Score Icons section, select your desired icon colors and styles for the documents with low, medium, high, and very high accessibility scores.
- (Optional) Customize additional icon settings, including
- Alternative Formats Disabled: The color and style of the icon when alternative formats are disabled.
- No Accessibility Score (Student View): The color and style of the icon when there is no accessibility score in the student view.
- No Accessibility Score (Instructor/Admin View): The color and style of the icon when there is no accessibility score in the instructor or administrator view.
- Icon Size: Changing the icon size to standard, large, or extra large. You can preview the changes by selecting a different icon size.
- WYSIWYG Gauge Size: Change the WYSIWYG Gauge size to Standard, Large, or Extra Large.
- Click Save Changes.
Customizing the Website Accessibility Widget
If your institution has the Website Accessibility Widget add-on set up, you can customize the widget's styling to better align with your institution's branding.
- Log in to Panorama as an admin.
- Hover over the left side panel.
- Click Configuration, then select Branding Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select Website Accessibility Widget from the top navbar.
- Select your desired colors and icon styles for the Primary Menu, Secondary Menu, Menu Button, and Website Accessibility Widget Button.
Note: To add a custom color, click the + icon and enter the RGB code of the desired color. - Click Save Changes.
Customizing the Login Page
- Log in to Panorama as an admin.
- Hover over the left side panel.
- Click Configuration, then select Branding Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select Login Page from the top navbar.
- Under Login Logo, click + Upload Image to upload your login logo.
- Under Background Image, click + Upload Image to upload a background image for your login page.
- Select a desired color for the login button.
Note: To add a custom color, click the + icon and enter the RGB code of the desired color. - Click Save Changes.
Customizing the Navigation Bar
- Log in to Panorama as an admin.
- Hover over the left side panel.
- Click Configuration, then select Branding Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select the Navbar tab.
- Customize your navbar by selecting:

Custom Colors: Choose a background color and text color for your navbar. You can enable the Gradient option to add a gradient to your navbar.

Preset Colors: Select from our preset color options to ensure visual consistency and match your institution’s branding.

Customizing the How-To-Fix Guides
The How-To-Fix Guides in the Accessibility Report provide step-by-step guidance to resolve accessibility issues. You can customize the guide for each issue to match your institution’s accessibility standards.
- Log in to Panorama as an admin.
- Hover over the left side panel.
- Click Configuration, then select Branding Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select How-To-Fix Guides from the top navbar.
- Select either Accessibility Issues or Non-Accessibility Issues based on the type of guide you want to customize.
- Select the file format the issue applies to, such as HTML, PDF, or DOCX.
- Locate your desired issue. Then click the More Actions icon > Edit.
Note: To reset the guide to its default version, click the More Actions icon > Reset. - Edit the content of the selected guide in the rich text editor.
- Click Save.
