When taking a proctored assessment, you may be required to enable incognito mode for the Verity browser extension.
Enabling Chrome Incognito Mode for the Verity Browser Extension
Before enabling Chrome incognito mode, make sure you have downloaded the Verity browser extension.
- Right-click on the Verity button and select Manage extension.
Note: If you do not see the Verity button, click the Extension button and locate the Verity browser extension. Then click the More options button > Manage extension. - Toggle to enable Allow in Incognito. Once enabled, you can start your Verity proctored assessments.
Enabling Microsoft Edge InPrivate Mode for the Verity Browser Extension
Before enabling InPrivate mode, make sure you have downloaded the Verity browser extension.
- Right-click on the Verity button and select Manage extension.
Note: If you do not see the Verity button, click the Extension button and locate the Verity browser extension. Then click the More actions button > Manage extension. - Select the Allow in InPrivate checkbox. Once enabled, you can start your Verity proctored assessments.
Enabling Brave Private Mode for the Verity Browser Extension
Before enabling Private mode, make sure you have downloaded the Verity browser extension.
- Click the Extensions button.
- Locate the YuJa Verity Chrome Extension.
- Click the More options button > Manage extension.
- Toggle to enable Allow in Private. Once enabled, you can start your Verity proctored assessments.
Enabling Opera Incognito Mode for the Verity Browser Extension
Before enabling incognito mode, make sure you have downloaded the Verity browser extension.
- Click the Extensions button.
- Locate the YuJa Verity Chrome Extension.
- Click the more options button > Manage extension.
- Toggle to enable Allow in Incognito. Once enabled, you can start your Verity proctored assessments.
