Enabling the Media Chooser in Your Drupal Account

After your admin has integrated the Media Chooser, you can enable it in your Drupal account to embed content.  

Obtaining Your YuJa API

You will need to obtain an API from the Video Platform to allow the Media Chooser to embed content. 

  1. Log in to the Video Platform and click your user profile.
  2. Select My Account.
  3. From the left-side navigation menu, select API. Note: If you do not see this option, please contact your Client Success Manager to enable it for you.

  4. Under Drupal User Access Token, click Add.
    The add button is shown for the Drupal user access token.
  5. Click Generate and then copy the generated API. It will be required in the next section of this guide.
  6. Click Submit.
    A token is generated and submitted.
  7. Click Save. Continue to the next section of this guide to integrate the API with your Drupal account.

Adding the YuJa API to Your Drupal Account

Once you've obtained your API token, you can add it to your Drupal account to use the Media Chooser.

The Edit Profile page shows that the YuJa User Access token is entered.
  1. Log in to Drupal and click your username located at the top of the page.
  2. Select Edit profile.
  3. In the YuJa User Access Token field, enter the YuJa API that was copied earlier, and click Save. The YuJa Media Chooser will now be available in your HTML editor when creating content.
