Creators can add a list of questions to a CSV file, then upload it to the Engage platform to create polls.
Creating a CSV File for Poll Questions
1. Download the sample CSV file here.
2. Open the file in any CSV file editor such as Google Sheets. The table below outlines how to set up your CSV file. Ensure that you retain the column headers: Question Type, Question Title, Options, Answer, and Blank Pair.

Uploading Your CSV File
Once you've created your CSV file, you can upload it to Engage.
- Log in to Engage as a creator.
- In the side navbar, select Activities.
- Click Create Poll.
- Select Graded Poll or Ungraded Poll.
- Select the Question Type you would like.
- Click the More Options button > Import Questions.
- Drag and drop your CSV file into the space provided, or click Choose File to select it.
- Click Next. The list of questions will appear.
- Click Import. Make any edits before releasing your poll.
Note: If some questions cannot be imported, verify the formatting of your CSV file.
