Resolving the Accessibility Issues
AutoPilot
AutoPilot is an AI-powered tool that automatically proposes accessibility fixes for PDF, DOCX, PPTX, and HTML files. To see which issues AutoPilot can help resolve, visit our guide on Panorama's Accessibility Checklist.
- Log in to your LMS and locate a document you would like to remediate.

Click on the Accessibility Icon next to the document.

Click Accessibility Report. Note: You will bypass this step if you have previously opened the file in Panorama.

Select Fix This Document to select a remediation option.

Choose AI-Assisted Remediation With AutoPilot.
- Under What is the Issue?, make any recommended changes to fix the issue.
Note: Depending on the chosen issue, the issue may say Learn More. Here, you can learn about the specific document accessibility issue through video or a short guide and reupload the document with the changes made. -
Once you are satisfied with your change, click Select Fix.

Click on Apply Fix(es) to Document. This button may look different depending on how many fixes you choose to make at a time.
- Panorama will update and reprocess the document in Canvas and your Accessibility Score will improve.

Once you're satisfied with all your changes, click Apply Changes. Panorama will apply your changes and reprocess your document.
Structural Remediation Max
Structural Remediation offers a comprehensive inline structural remediation solution designed to address structural issues in PDFs to ensure they are accessible and properly formatted. Structural Remediation makes it easy to quickly identify and provide solutions for common PDF structural problems that hinder compliance with assistive technologies.
- Log in to your LMS and locate a document you would like to remediate.

Select Fix This Document to select a remediation option.

Choose Edit Structure With Structural Remediation.

To do a remediation fix, use the sidebar menu to select an element or click on it directly in the document. To edit structure, please refer to this guide.

When you are satisfied with all the changes you have made, click on the Save icon in the top menu.
- Panorama will apply your changes and reprocess your document.
Guided Remediation With Assistance
Guided Remediation takes you through all your document's accessibility issues and proposes manual fixes. This remediation option is recommended if you would like to closely review all changes to your document with little to no automation.
- Log in to your LMS and locate a document you would like to remediate.

Select Fix This Document to select a remediation option.

Select Guided Remediation With Assistance.
- For this particular fix, a title will be added to the document's properties. You may write a title manually or click the generate button.

Click Select Fix to complete your action.

Click Apply Fix(es) to Document to complete to process and generate a new document.
