LTI role mapping allows administrators to configure a user's Panorama role based on their LMS role. By mapping LMS-specific roles for administrators, instructors, and students, administrators can grant users the appropriate access levels in Panorama.
Configuring LTI Role Mapping
Before configuring LTI role mapping, please ensure that you have integrated Panorama with your institution's LMS (Blackboard, Canvas, D2L Brightspace, or Moodle).
- From your LMS, log in to Panorama LTI as an admin.
- In the side navbar, select Configuration > General Settings.
- Select the Institution Settings tab.
- In the LTI Role Mapping section, select the Panorama Role associated with each LMS Role.
- Click Save Changes. The user will have their new Panorama role at their next login.
