Blackboard provides institutions the ability to migrate existing LTI 1.1 tools to LTI 1.3. Institutions with the YuJa Video Platform LTI 1.1 tool may utilize this feature to migrate their Video Platform LTI 1.1 tool to LTI 1.3 without breaking any existing links or user information.
Migrating Panorama LTI 1.1 to LTI 1.3
Before beginning the migration process, please ensure you have received your Client ID from your Customer Success Manager.
- Log in to Blackboard Ultra as an Admin.
- In the side panel, click on Admin.
- Under Integrations, click on LTI Tool Providers.
- Click Register LTI 1.3/Advantage Tool.
- Enter your Client ID provided to you by your Customer Success Manager.
- Click Submit.
- An alert will appear asking to confirm the LTI 1.1 tool migration to LTI 1.3. Click OK.
- Blackboard will automatically populate the required fields.
- Click the Submit button.
- You'll then be taken to the list of available tools. Click the drop-down arrow for the YuJa tool and select Manage Placements.
- Click the drop-down arrow for the Content Tool and select Edit.
- Scroll down to the Tool Provider Information and enter the following Target Link URL:
- https://ABC.yuja.com/LTI3Entry.jsp
- Click Submit.
- Finally, you'll need to add the above link to the Course Tool as well. Click the drop-down arrow for the Course Tool, and select Edit.
- Scroll down to the Tool Provider Information, and enter the following Target Link URL:
- https://ABC.yuja.com/LTI3Entry.jsp
- Click Submit to complete the migration to LTI 1.3.
