Administrators have the ability to generate a Duplicate Assets Report via Usage & Analytics. A Duplicate Assets Report identifies assets and their duplicates that exist on the Video Platform. Administrators can manually generate this report or schedule the reports to be generated on a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly basis.
Generating a Duplicate Assets Report
- Log into the Video Platform.
- Navigate to Usage & Analytics from the Main Menu. Then, from the left-side menu, select the Reports tab.
- From the Report Type drop-down menu, select Duplicate Assets.
- Select Get Report.
- A CSV file will be sent to your email.
Scheduling a Report
- Log into the Video Platform.
- Navigate to Usage & Analytics from the Main Menu. Then, from the left-side menu, select the Reports tab.
- From the Report Type drop-down menu, select Duplicate Assets.
- Select Schedule Report.
- You may edit the Report Description if you wish to do so.
- From the Select Report Interval drop-down menu, select how often the report will be generated.
- In the space provided, you may enter the name or email of an existing user to send a copy of the report to.
- Select Add to Schedule to complete the process.
Locating Duplicate Assets
- Open the CSV file sent to your email, and copy the assetPID for the file you wish to locate.
- Log into the Video Platform.
- In the search bar to the top-left, search for pid: followed by the assetPID.
- Click on the title of the video.
- An additional option will appear allowing you to navigate to the parent folder if you wish to do so.
- Select MORE ACTIONS to edit certain video features, including the option to delete the duplicate asset.
