This document provides instructions on how to complete a course import in Moodle while keeping YuJa contents embedded in Assignments, Announcements, and Content modules.
Installing Plugin for Course Sync
Before you begin importing courses in Moodle, a plugin must be installed to sync imports.
- Login to Moodle as an Administrator.
- On the bottom-left side, click Site administration .
- Select Plugins, and then click Install plugins.
- Click here to download the Course Sync plugin.
- Select Choose a file, or drag and drop the downloaded ZIP file into the space provided.
- Click Install plugin from the ZIP file
- Click Continue.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Continue.
- Select Upgrade Moodle database now.
- Click Continue.
- Enter your YuJa Access URL, Consumer Key, and Shared Secret provided to you by your YuJa Solutions Engineer.
- After entering your credentials, select Save Changes.

Transferring a Course
- Log in to Moodle as a course Administrator and navigate to the Moodle course that will have content copied to it from another course.
- From the top-right of the screen, select the Gear icon.
- Select, Import from the dropdown menu.
- Select the course you would like to import.
- Click Continue.
- Choose which elements to import.
- Select either Jump to final step to complete the transfer process, or Next to further customize your import.
- From the top-left of the screen, select All to check all elements or None to uncheck all elements. Alternatively, manually check each element you would like imported.
- Click Next.
- Review all elements, and then select Perform import.
