YuJa Verity's AI Assistant allows faculty to quickly review and resolve flagged events in course assessments using a conversational interface. This guide provides an overview of the four tabs available with the AI Assistant: Summarize Report, Review Flagged Events, Resolve Flags, and Ask AI Assistant Anything.
How to access YuJa Verity's AI Assistant
To use YuJa Verity's AI Assistant, you must navigate first to the Assessment Report.
- Log in to YuJa Verity as an admin.
Hover over the left side navbar and click Reports > Course Report.
From the Course Report, ensure you are in the course that you wish to remediate.
(Optional) If you are not in the right course, click Switch Course and choose a different course from the drop-down menu.
Under Assessments, locate the assessment for which you want to view the Assessment Report. Click the name of the quiz or hover over it and click View Report.
In the Assessment Report, select the AI Assistant tab.
Summarize Report
Click Summarize Report.
The AI Assistant will generate a summary of the Assessment Report for the given assessment in your course. The summary provides a list of test-takers with low integrity scores who need improvement, integrity trends including common flags, and suggested next steps to help you improve academic integrity for future assessments.
Review Flagged Events
Click Review Flagged Events.
The AI Assistant will open a chat where it responds to the request to review the flagged events. It will identify the number of open flagged events and produce a list of the flagged events with each test-taker's name, which assessment attempt it was, the severity level of the flag, and the flag type (e.g., an attempt to right-click was blocked).
Resolve Flags
Click Resolve Flags.
The AI Assistant will open a chat where it responds to the request to resolve flagged events. It will produce a list of the flagged events with each test-taker's name, which assessment attempt it was, the severity level of the flag, and the flag type (e.g., an attempt to right-click was blocked). Within the list, it will allow you to check off the entire list (by clicking the top checkbox) or check off individual flags to resolve.
Click the purple Resolve Flags button under the list to resolve flags that you select.
Ask AI Assistant Anything
Click Ask AI Assistant Anything.
YuJa Verity's AI Assistant will open a chat prompting you to ask anything about proctoring activity or to review or resolve flagged events, allowing you to receive comprehensive information about an assessment's academic integrity through a conversational interface. The AI Assistant will answer nearly any question you have related to the assessment's academic integrity, such as who were the highest-risk test-takers.
