If files have mistakenly been archived to the Video Platform, Administrators have the ability to undo the archive job.
- After you have mistakenly archived files to the Video Platform, you may want to undo this action. To begin, navigate to the Main Menu and select Admin Panel. Then, hover your mouse over the left-side panel and select Notifications.
- Click on Advanced Filter. This will cause the filter menu to appear. Under Himalayas, select the option for Media Archiving Request.
- Once selected, click on the Filter button located at the top-left corner of your screen.
- After you have located the appropriate Media Archiving Request, click on the Description link.
- A window titled Event Details will appear. Locate and copy the Active Archive Batch ID number.
- Return to the Data Management tab and click on Undo Archive.
- A window titled Undo Archive will appear. In Active Archive ID paste the Batch ID number in the designated textbox.
- In Restore Location, users have the option to select where they would like their files to be restored.
- Original Location: Restore files in original location.
- Restore Folder: Restore content in a designated folder for restored files.
- Click Yes.
- A warning message will appear asking you to confirm your decision. Click Yes.
- After clicking Yes, an email will be sent shortly afterwards, notifying you that the process has been completed.
