YuJa EqualGround provides the option to automatically generate accessible and descriptive attribute content to help users reach compliance, eliminating the need for manual remediation and technical HTML knowledge. Here's how to use YuJa EqualGround's automatic attribute content generation.
How to automatically generate accessible HTML-attribute content in YuJa EqualGround
Key attributes that YuJa EqualGround can generate include:
- Proper alt text for images and image buttons that do not have alt text.
- ARIA labels for elements that have inaccessible, placeholder, or no ARIA labels.
- Descriptive text defining link purpose for links with no specified purpose or ambiguous descriptions.
- Title attribute for any input elements that do not have a title.
- iframe title for short inline frames that don't have a title or ARIA label.
Log in to YuJa EqualGround as an administrator.
Hover over the side navbar and select Websites.
Locate and click on the domain name of your website that has been scanned in YuJa EqualGround.
Click on a web page within your site to open the Accessibility Report for that page.
- Within the Accessibility Report, click ARIA to view the list of ARIA accessibility issues.
Click on an issue for which you want to generate automatic attribute content.
Click the purple AI generator button—for example, in the image below, Generate Alt Text—to automatically generate accessible attribute content.
Note: For other issues, the button may appear differently, such as Generate ARIA Label for the issue of elements missing ARIA labels.
