You must upgrade to the latest LMS Visualizer Plugin in order to use the Verity Assessment Builder in Moodle. If you do not see the Assessment Builder in your Verity instance, follow these steps to upgrade your LMS Visualizer Plugin.
Removing Your LMS Visualizer Plugin
- Log in to Moodle as an admin.
- Navigate to Site administration > Plugins > Plugins overview.
- Locate your existing Verity plugin and click Uninstall.
Note: If you have previously named your plugin's root directory, you will find the name of the plugin here. If you did not specify a name, the plugin will be located under Local plugins with the default title [pluginname,local_verity]. - Click Continue to remove the plugin.
Updating the LMS Visualizer Plugin
- Log in to Moodle as an admin and navigate to Verity.
- In Verity, select Settings > Integration Settings from the side navbar.
- Select LMS Visualizer in the Select Integration drop-down menu.
- Click Download Visualizer. Take note of your Verity Institute ID and Environment.
- Close Verity and log in to Moodle as an admin.
- Click Site administration > Plugins > Install plugins.
- Click Choose a file or drag and drop to upload the new Visualizer file.
- (Optional) If you have clicked Choose a file..., click Choose File in the pop-up window, then click Upload this file.
- Click Show more.
- From the Plugin type drop-down menu, select Local Plugin (local).
- Click Install plugin from the ZIP file.
- Click Continue.
- Once all server checks have passed, scroll down and click Continue to complete the plugin installation process.
- Click Site administration > Plugins.
- Locate the Verity section and select Verity for Moodle Settings.
- Enter the information copied from Verity previously in the Institute ID and the Verity Environment fields in step 4.
- Click Save changes. You should now be able to use the Verity Assessment Builder.
