YuJa Verity allows test-takers to use their mobile devices as a secondary camera that records them during the assessment. This guide outlines how to use the feature step-by-step.
Before You Start
Download the YuJa Verity app on your mobile device.
Setting Up Your Mobile Device as a Secondary Camera
- Open the assessment created by your instructor to begin your Pre-Assessment Check.
Complete the System Check, then click Next.
In the Device Setup, click the drop-down menu under Secondary Camera, then select Use my mobile as a camera. Click Next to generate a QR code for your assessment.
- Open the YuJa Verity app on your mobile device.
Click Scan QR Code, then scan the QR code from step 3.
Select Setup Camera.
Set up your device to ensure you can be seen from your mobile camera, then select Confirm Camera. Your recording will begin on your mobile device.
Note: You may use your front or back camera as a secondary camera.
On your test-taking device, proceed through the rest of the setup, then click Next.
Review and confirm the details of your assessment, then click Start Assessment to begin your assessment with your mobile device as a secondary camera.
