Some images in documents are for decorative purposes and do not need alternative text. This guide will outline how to mark images as decorative in Word, PowerPoint, and PDF documents.
Open the Sidebar in Panorama and click on Configuration. In the dropdown, select General Settings.
Select Institution Settings and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Locate "Treat Empty Alt Tags as Decorative Images" and Enable this setting with the toggle button.
Scroll to the top of the page and click Save Changes.
Note: It may take up to five minutes for the changes to generate in Panorama. You may need to refresh the page.
