Candidate AI is a proctoring platform built on the core of YuJa Verity’s Proctoring Engines to streamline and advance interview processes for a secure and fair experience.
How to Schedule a Candidate AI Interview
Interviewers can schedule a Candidate AI Interview within the online portal.
From My Interviews, click Schedule Interview.
Fill in the required Interview Details, then click Next. Interview Details include:
- Interview Title
- Candidate Name
- Candidate Email
- Position Name
- Interviewer Email
- Date
- Time
- Duration
Provide the Video Conference details for the interview, then click Next. Video Conference Details include:
- Video Platform: Interviewers can choose between Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or other providers.
- Meeting Link: Provide the link for your interview here. Please note that all links must begin with https://.
- Additional Notes: Use this section to provide any special instructions or requirements for the interview, such as accessibility accommodations.
Go through and configure the available proctoring features for the interview. Enable the settings that align with your interview process, then click Next.
- Review the interview details. If desired, click the Edit button to change any details.
Click Schedule to complete the interview scheduling.
A confirmation page will appear when your interview has been scheduled.
Joining a Candidate AI Interview
Interviewers can join a Candidate AI interview during the scheduled timeslot. To allow interviewees privacy while they are preparing for their interview, interviewers cannot join the interview session in advance.
From My Interviews, click the Join Interview button.
Note: The Join Interview button will not appear until the scheduled time for the interview. If the interview is not active, this button will say Edit Details or View Results.
Click the Launch button to open the video conferencing link in a new tab.
- Navigate to the video conference tab and complete any actions the video conference platform prompts you to do before joining the video call. This may include confirming your video and audio sources or providing your name.
Once the interview has begun, interviewers will be able to view:
- Session Info: An overview of basic session information with a section to add interview notes if desired.
- Live Events: A live screen view of the interviewee and an up-to-date record of any proctoring events that have been flagged.
- Complete the interview, and use the exit button on the video conferencing page to end the conference call.
Once the conference call is complete, you can end the interview within Candidate AI by:
- Using the End Interview button.
- By using the Mark as Complete button from the My Interviews page.
Click the View Results button to see all recorded information from the proctored interview.
Note: If the interview session has not ended, the View Results button will not appear.
