Candidate AI is a proctoring platform built on the core of YuJa Verity’s Proctoring Engines to streamline and advance interview processes for a secure and fair experience. Invitations for YuJa Candidate AI Interviews will be sent to you by email.
How to Access Your YuJa Candidate AI Interview
Before your interview, ensure that you have successfully downloaded YuJa Candidate AI on your device. Successfully downloading Candidate AI will allow you to access your interview.
Open the email titled “Your Interview with [Company Name] - Next Steps and Interview Preparation”.
Find the What You Need to Do Before Your Interview section and download the correct version of Candidate AI for your operating system.
A setup file will download on your device. Click the file to continue the download process.
Return to your email and find the What to Expect Next section for more information on what to do before your interview.
Completing a Pre-Interview Check
Interviewees can complete a Pre-Interview Check to ensure their device compatibility with Candidate AI. If you experience technical difficulties when trying to complete a Pre-Interview Check, please reach out to your interviewer. Pre-Interview Checks are no longer available 15 minutes before a scheduled interview.
Find the What to Expect Next section from your interview invitation email, and click Launch Candidate AI App.
Click the Start Pre-Interview Check button.
Read the General information page, then click Next.
Complete the System Check, then click Next.
Set up your camera, microphone, and screen for recording, then click Next.
Note: Your interviewer will select which inputs they wish to record for your interview, so you may not be required to set up all three recording sources.
If your interviewer has asked you to complete ID Verification, do so, then click Next.
If applicable, read through any additional information about restrictions that are being applied to your interview, then click Next.
Your pre-interview check will be complete when you see the confirmation message. Click Compatibility Report to go back to the waiting room.
Your waiting room will display the time remaining until your interview. When it is time for your interview, click the Start Assessment button to begin.
Joining a Candidate AI Interview
Interviewees can join a Candidate AI interview 15 minutes before their scheduled time. This ensures all interviewees have enough time to set up their device for their interview.
Click Launch Candidate AI from your email invitation.
Click Start Interview to begin.
Read through the Agreement information and check the I understand the information provided above box. Then, click Next.
Read the General information page, then click Next.
Complete the System Check, then click Next.
Set up your camera, microphone, and screen for recording, then click Next.
Note: Your interviewer will select which inputs they wish to record for your interview, so you may not be required to set up all three recording sources.
If your interviewer has asked you to complete ID Verification, do so, then click Next.
If applicable, read any additional information about restrictions that are being applied to your interview, then click Next.
A confirmation message will appear. Click Start Assessment to proceed.
Click the Launch Video Call button to open the video link for your interview.
- Complete any actions the video conference platform prompts you to do before joining the video call. This may include confirming your video and audio sources or providing your name.
- Complete the interview, and use the exit button on the video conferencing page to end the conference call.
