You can integrate Panopto with Panorama to detect and flag videos that do not have captions.
Setting up the Client ID and Secret in Panopto
- Log in to Panopto.
- Click your Profile, then click User Settings.
- Select API Clients.
- Click Create a new API Client.
- Enter a name under Client Name, then select Server-side Web Application.
Enter your Panorama server URL under Redirect URL, then click Create API Client.
The Redirect URLs are:- US Zone: https://panorama-api.yuja.com/panopto-auth
- CA Zone: https://panorama-api-cz.yuja.com/panopto-auth
- EU Zone: https://panorama-api-ez.yuja.com/panopto-auth
- AUS Zone: https://panorama-api-az.yuja.com/panopto-auth
- Note down your Client ID and Client Secret, then click OK to close the modal.
Integrating Panopto into Panorama
Once you have obtained your Client ID and Client Secret from Panopto, you can integrate Panopto with Panorama.
- Log in to Panorama.
- On the side panel, open Configuration > Integration Settings.
- Under Select Integration, choose Video Providers.
- Click Add Integration under Panopto Video Integration.
- Enter your Panopto domain, your Client ID, and your Client Secret Key.
Note: Your Panopto domain should be in the format: <institution_name>.hosted.panopto.com Click Authenticate With Panopto. A new tab should open with your Panopto Authentication Response. Copy and paste the response into the text box then click Add.
Note: If authentication fails, generate another Client Secret in Panopto. Make sure that you click Save so the Client Secret is not open in Panopto and try again.
