Retagging a PDF Document
This section provides steps for retagging your entire PDF at once. You can also retag the elements in a selected area of your PDF instead.
- In the Accessibility Report for the PDF document, locate the Structural Remediation banner and click Launch.
- Click Retag PDF.
- Click Retag again to confirm removing the current structure and generate a new tagged structure for your PDF document.
Retagging Selected PDF Elements with Retag Zone
When only a specific area of your PDF is flagged for accessibility issues, such as improper heading order or missing table headers, you can select that area to automatically retag the elements within it.
- In the Accessibility Report for the PDF document, locate the Structural Remediation banner and click Launch.
- Click Retag Zone.
- Click and drag to select your desired area in the PDF to retag the elements automatically.
Note: You can select more than one area in your PDF. - After selecting your desired area, click the Save button to retag the elements for your selected area.
