Before starting a new recording, users can select which screen sources they would like to use as well as modify their recording settings.
- Launch the Software Capture for Apple application and log in.
- Click the Screen option on the left side menu to expand the section.
- Toggle on/off the screen source to enable/disable it.
- Click on the dropdown menu to select which video source to use for the recording.
- Up to two screen sources can be recorded simultaneously.
- Select the Advanced Settings option to select which screen sources to use for the recording.
- Single (Primary) Display: Select the main display monitor as the screen source.
- Single (Secondary) Display: Select the secondary display monitor as the screen source if there are two monitors connected.
- Captured Selected Area: Highlight and select the area on the display monitor to record instead of the whole screen.
- Duo Display: Select two-screen or three-screen sources to record at the same time if there are two monitors connected.
- Once all the screen recording settings are set, click Start to start a new recording with the selected screen sources.
