Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) enables the Video Platform to interact with and share information from your Learning Management System. Upgrading from LTI 1.1 to LTI 1.3 requires certain settings to be enabled in the Admin Panel to ensure the correct linkage of users and courses.
To ensure that users previously linked through LTI 1.1 are not duplicated when they access the Video Platform from LTI 1.3, Admins can enable the following linkage settings in the Admin Panel.
LTI Linkage Settings
- Navigate to the Admin Panel.
- Select Integrations from the left-hand menu.
- Choose LMS via LTI 1.1 from the drop-down list.
- Under Entity Linkage Settings, check both boxes in the LTI Linkage Settings section.
Important Note: These settings ensure there are no duplicate users or courses created when moving from LTI 1.1 to 1.3
