This document will provide instructions on how to locate a Content Creator’s local video files and session logs on Apple when the upload process is interrupted due to intermittent Internet connection, user turning off the machine, or unexpected power loss, etc
How to Find Local Video Files
The first guide will be on how to find a Content Creator’s local video files on Apple.
- Open a new Finder window on Mac, then use Command + Shift + G on your keyboard.
- Type in /Library/Application Support and locate the folder named YuJaYSS.
- The local video files will be available in either the uploaded or uploading folder.
How to Find the Session Logs
The following guide will provide instructions on how to find the session logs on Apple.
- Open a new Finder window on Mac, then use Command + Shift + G on your keyboard.
- Type in ~/Library/Logs and the logs will be available in a folder named YuJa Software Capture.
Due to the way how Apple works, when a user finishes a recording session, the logs will then start to appear in /Library/Application Support/YuJaYSS/logs. Next, the logs will be uploaded onto our YuJa’s AWS S3 account, and a backup copy will be saved for 7 days in the ~/Library/Logs/YuJa Software Capture folder.
