Video and Screen Capture for the Software Capture Application for PC

In Software Capture, you can adjust the video and screen capture options to customize your recording set ups and output options.

Accessing Settings 

You can configure capture settings in Software Capture, including selecting media sources, customizing recording options, setting upload preferences, and more. To access settings, click the Settings icon in the top right corner of the Software Capture application. 

Accessing Video Settings

In Video settings, you can customize the video compression quality according to your needs.

1. Click the Settings icon in Software Capture.
2. In Application Settings window, click the Sources tab.
3. Under Video Capture, select your desired video quality from the drop-down menu and adjust the livestream bitrate using the slider.
   Note: If you are a new user to Software Capture, it is recommended to keep the setting as default to balance your video quality and upload size.
4. Click Save to save your changes.

Accessing Screen Capture Settings

In Screen Capture settings, you can personalize your screen and video configurations to suit your preferences. By default, the settings are optimized for high quality and compatibility with your computer and resolution.

1. Click the Settings icon in Software Capture.
2. In Application Settings window, click the Sources tab.
3. Under Screen Capture, you can:
   • Change the frame rate using the slider
   • Adjust the video quality
   • Adjust the output video file size
   • Adjust the screen output resolution
     Note: For a dual-screen configuration, you can select resolutions for both left and right screen.
   • Add highlighted boarders to the recording state
4. Click Save to save your changes.
