Administrators may manage individual user’s User Collections, called My Media folders, including finding, reviewing, and moving files between individual User Collections.
Locating an Individual User
Find a User enables Administrators to locate a desired My Media folder.
- Click on Manage Media at the top of the screen.
- Choose User Collections from the left side of the screen.
- Click Find a User.
- Select the desired username from the dropdown box. Enter the first letters of the name to quickly reach the correct user.
Moving Files between Different User Collections
Files can be moved between different User Collections by anyone with Administrator status in your institution. Once moved, the file is then no longer part of the original User Collection. If you would like files to be available to more than one user, choose the Share feature, rather than Move.
- Navigate to Manage Media at the top of the screen.
- Choose User Collections from the left side of the screen.
- Click on the username associated with the desired User Collection. Choose the desired folder.
- CTRL-click to select the file you wish to move.
- Select More Actions at the top of the screen and choose Move Media from the dropdown menu.
- Click on the desired user and choose Select to move the file.
