The option to add Auto-Start to your media ensures that your video content 'loops' automatically without the viewer having to manually replay the video. Use the instructions below to customize either your video’s Direct Link or Embed Code to enable Auto-Start. Note that most modern browsers may have some restrictions for auto-start videos. Users may be required to manually enable audio for Chrome or click Play to play the video for Firefox.
Enabling Auto-Start for the Media’s Embed Code
- Log in to the Video Platform and navigate to your Media Collection by clicking Manage Media from the top of the webpage.
- From your Media Collection, hover over a media thumbnail and select More... to open up the Media Details panel.
- Navigate to the Links tab.
- Click Edit Embed Code to open the embed code editor.
- Add the suffix autostart=1 to the end of the Embed Code's video ID and remove &preload=false before it. For example the embed code should look something like this:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://hudson.yuja.com/V/Video?v=457265&node=2029312&a=1869026761&autostart=1" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen></iframe>
- Click Save to register the changes.
Enabling Auto-Start for the Media’s Direct Link
