Vacation Periods may be set to scheduled recordings on registered devices in the event that recordings are not needed due to organization holidays.
Setting Vacation Periods
- Log into the Video Platform as an Administrator, and navigate to the Admin Panel.
- From the left side menu, select Devices.
- Click on the Vacation Period button.
- Select the desired room, and then specify the dates you do not wish for any recordings to take place.
- Click Save Changes. Once saved, no registered devices that were previously scheduled will record over the Vacation Period.
Reviewing the Vacation Schedule
Once Vacation Periods have been established, Administrators can review and modify the existing schedules directly from the Admin Panel.
- Click on the Vacation Period button.
- Select the applicable room name, and select View Current Vacations.
- If you wish to remove a scheduled Vacation Period, click on the Recycle Bin icon under the Actions column.
