This document will provide instructions on how to locate a Content Creator’s local video files and session logs on Windows when the upload process is interrupted due to intermittent Internet connection, user turning off the machine, or unexpected power loss, etc.
How to Find Local Video Files
The first guide will be on how to find a Content Creator’s local video files on Windows.
- Open a new Window Explorer menu, then go to This PC.
- Go to the location where the YuJa Software Capture is installed, the default location is Local Disc (C:)/Program Files (x86)/YuJa/YuJa Software Capture.
- The local video files will be available in the videos folder.
How to Locate the Services & Session Logs
The following guide will provide instructions on how to find the services and session logs on Windows.
Services Logs
- Open a new Window Explorer menu, then go to This PC.
- Go to the location where the YuJa Software Capture is installed, the default location is Local Disc (C:)/Program Files (x86)/YuJa/YuJa Software Capture.
- The service logs will be available within the logs folder.
Session Logs
- From the Windows search bar, type in %appdata%.
- Go into the YuJa/Software Capture folder.
- There will be two log files here named yss-client and yss-client-per-session.
