The Media Player enhances users learning experiences by enabling them to download Notes, Resources, and Transcripts while watching the media through the Media Player Sidebar.
Downloading Notes
Notes are private, user-created and can be downloaded along with relevant Slide Contents as a PDF file.
- While watching the media, click on the Sidebar icon to bring up the Sidebar.
- To start taking notes, click on the book-shaped icon.
- Type out your notes in the designated section. Then, click on the blue icon to save it.
- Once done, click the Download Notes or Notes button and select the relevant slide for the notes.
- Click Request. An email will be sent to the Users with all the notes in PDF format.
Downloading Resources
Content Creators can choose to attach additional resources to their media files. While watching the media, Users will be able to access and download the resources for offline viewing.
- While watching the media, click on the Sidebar icon to bring up the Sidebar.
- Select the Resources section and click on the resource file you would like to download.
Downloading Transcripts
If transcripts for a video are available, Users can download them directly from the Media Player.
- Click the Sidebar icon in the Media Player toolbar.
- In the upper-right corner of the Sidebar, select the Resources tab.
- Locate your transcript, and click the download icon.
