You can use the Lumina Video Editor to insert a watermark into your media content, blur portions of an image on your screen, or add a virtual background. You can also insert slides and text overlays to your videos.
Inserting a Watermark or Overlay
You can insert a watermark to brand your content, especially if it is shared publicly.
- Log in to Lumina.
- Click Manage Media.
- Go to the media you want.
- Hover over it and select Edit.
- Enable the Advanced Mode toggle.
- Click Overlays > Watermark.
- Click Upload your logo or brand mark.
- Select the media you want to insert.
- Input the Start and End timestamp for your watermark, then click Apply Watermark.
- To adjust the media position in the video stream, drag it to the area you want.
- Once you're happy with your edits, click Save Project.
Blurring an Image
You can use the blur tool to blur an image or part of a video, or completely black out a section of the video. This is an effective way to hide personal information.
- Log in to Lumina.
- Click Manage Media.
- Go to the media you want.
- Hover over it and select Edit.
- Enable the Advanced Mode toggle.
- Click Overlays > Blur.
- Click + Add Blur Region.
- Drag the blur region on your video preview to adjust the blur location. To resize the blurred area, click and drag the corners of the gray rectangle. You can also check Blackout entire video to cover your entire screen.
- Input the Start and End timestamp for your blur. You can also add a Label to your blur.
- Once you're happy with your edits, click Save Project.
Adding a Virtual Background
You can add a virtual background (PNG, JPG, JPEG, or GIF) to customize your video and keep the privacy of your personal location.
- Log in to Lumina.
- Click Manage Media.
- Go to the media you want.
- Hover over it and select Edit.
- Enable the Advanced Mode toggle.
- Click Background > Upload Background.
- Select the media you want to insert.
- Select the video stream that you want to add the virtual background to, then click Apply to Selected Stream.
- Once you're happy with your edits, click Save Project..
