You can adjust the audio level for specific segments in a video using the YuJa Lumina Video Editor.
Adjusting audio levels in the YuJa Lumina Video Editor
- Log in to YuJa Lumina.
- Click Manage Media.
- Locate the video for which you want to adjust the audio levels.
Hover over it and select Edit to open the Video Editor.
- Enable the Advanced toggle.
- Select Audio from the left-side navigation bar.
Click + Add.
- In the Start field, enter the start time in seconds at which the volume adjustment should begin. Click Now to set the start time to the time that you are currently selecting on the video.
Note: You can adjust the start time to the millisecond. - In the Duration field, enter the length of time in seconds that the volume adjustment should last.
Note: You can adjust the duration to the millisecond. - Drag the volume slider to the left to lower the volume or to the right to raise the volume. The volume adjustment must be between -20 and 20 dB.
When you're satisfied with the volume adjustment, click Apply to Section.
The adjusted section will appear in the Audio menu and in the Audio Gain track.
Updating audio adjustments in the YuJa Lumina Video Editor
You can modify the audio adjustment with the drag and drop feature, which allows you to move the segmented audio or adjust its duration. Alternatively, you can double-click the segmented audio to open the Audio panel to edit the start time, duration, and volume for the audio adjustment.
- Log in to YuJa Lumina.
- Click Manage Media.
- Locate the video for which you want to update the audio adjustment.
Hover over it and select Edit to open the Video Editor.
Enable the Advanced toggle.
- Update the segmented audio:
- Move the segmented audio: Drag the segmented audio to the desired time on the timeline.
Adjust the duration: Drag the ends of the segmented audio horizontally. Dragging outward extends the duration, while dragging inward shortens it.
- Click the Play button to preview your updated audio.
When you're satisfied with your updated audio, click Save Project in the top-right corner.
