Taking a Video Quiz

This guide will provide instructions on how to take a Video Quiz as a user either through your Organization’s LMS or within the Video Platform. The first part of this guide will focus solely on taking a Video Quiz through your Organization’s LMS, including Canvas, Moodle, BrightSpace (D2L) and Blackboard.

Taking Video Quizzes in Canvas

These instructions will show you how to take a Video Quiz as a user within Canvas.

1. Log in to Canvas and go to the Assignments tab within the desired course to take any available Quiz.
2. Click Play and answer questions. Click Save to save each of your responses.
3. Click on the timestamp at the bottom to jump back and forth between all the questions in the video.
4. Choose Submit to turn in the Quiz.

Taking Video Quizzes in Moodle

These instructions will show you how to take a Video Quiz as a user within Moodle.

1. Log in to Moodle, and navigate to the course home page. Choose an available Quiz to take.
2. Answer questions as they appear in the playing video and click Save to save your responses to any of the questions.
3. Click on the timestamp at the bottom to jump back and forth between all the questions in the video.
4. Choose Submit to turn in the Quiz.

Taking Video Quizzes in D2L

These instructions will show you how to take a Video Quiz as a user within BrightSpace (D2L).

1. Log in to Brightspace (D2L), and check for available quizzes through the Assignment tab on the course home page.
2. Click Play and answer questions. Click Save to save your responses to any of the questions.
3. Click on the timestamp at the bottom to jump back and forth between all the questions in the video.
4. Complete the Quiz and choose Submit to turn in the Quiz.

Taking Video Quizzes in BlackBoard

These instructions will show you how to take a Video Quiz as a user within BlackBoard.

1. Log in to Blackboard and choose the Content tab within a course and select an available quiz to take.
2. Answer questions in the playing video and choose Save to save your responses to any of the questions.
3. Click on the timestamp at the bottom to jump back and forth between all the questions in the video.
4. Finish the Quiz and choose Submit to turn in the Quiz.

Accessing and Taking Video Quizzes Through the Platform

Within the Video Platform, users can receive notifications when new Video Quizzes are posted through the notification bell icon.

1. Click on the Purple Notification bell to see a list of new posted Video Quizzes.
2. Choose the notifications to gain access to the Video Quiz.
3. Select Play and answer all questions. Click Save to save your responses to any of the questions.
4. Click on the timestamp at the bottom to jump back and forth between all the questions in the video.
5. Choose Submit to turn in the Quiz.

Click the Full Screen button located in the top, right hand corner of a Video Quiz to launch and take the Video Quiz in another tab.
