Video Conferences provide a collaborative environment with a variety of functional, collaborative tools for conferences consisting of two to 200 individuals. All users may join with either audio or both video and audio participation from their home or office computers or may call in with a toll-free number.
Initiating Video Conferences with Meet Now
You can use the Meet Now feature to start an immediate Video Conference.
- Navigate to Video Conference at the top of the screen. A pop-up will appear.
- Choose Meet Now.
- Invite Participants to your Video Conference by entering Video Platform usernames or email addresses.
- Invite Groups to your Video Conference by entering a Video Platform course or Media Channel name.
- Select Start Meeting. Once started, the Meet Now pop-up with change to allow you to access the Guest Link and to Join Meeting.
- Click Join Meeting to enter the Video Conference.
- Copy and share the Guest Link to invite others to the Video Conference.
Scheduling Video Conferences
Video Conferences can also be scheduled from the Video Conference popup.
- Navigate to Video Conference at the top of the screen.
- Choose Schedule Meeting.
- Enter a Meeting Name.
- Invite Participants to your Video Conference by entering Video Platform usernames or email addresses.
- Invite Groups to your Video Conference by entering a Video Platform course or Media Channel name.
- Click Show Additional Options to schedule your meeting at a future time. Select the date, start time, meeting length and schedule repeating meetings if desired. If you do not enter this information, your Video Conference will begin immediately.
Reviewing Upcoming Meetings
Upcoming Meetings allows you to review any scheduled Video Conferences.
- Navigate to Video Conference at the top of the screen.
- Choose Upcoming Meetings. You may choose to Delete, Invite Participants, or Enter a Meeting if one is active from the Upcoming Meetings popup.
- Click View All Upcoming to see the monthly meeting calendar and access other scheduled Video Conferences.
