Video Conference participants have the ability to perform a Virtual Hand Raise within a meeting to make a request, ask a question, or indicate confusion to the Meeting Owner without unmuting their microphone.
Using the Virtual Hand Raise as an Attendee
The Virtual Hand Raise is available to all participants in the Video Conference.
- Once logged in to the Video Conference, select the Raise Hand tool at the top of the screen anytime you want to notify the Meeting Owner of your question.
- Once selected, the Meeting Owner will receive a visual indication of your request on the Users list for the meeting.
Participants may select Lower Hand at any time to indicate that their question has been resolved.
Using the Virtual Hand Raise as a Meeting Owner
The Virtual Hand Raise allows the Meeting Owner to engage participants, respond to questions, or address concerns.
- Once an Attendee selects the Raise Hand tool, the Meeting Owner will see an icon of a hand in the Users list and a brief notification. Address the Attendee’s request by sending them a Chat or changing their role to a Presenter. This will unmute their microphone and allow them to speak.
- Click on the Raise Hand icon from the Users list to resolve the Raise Hand.
