Performing a comprehensive pre-assessment compatibility check allows you to understand additional proctoring details regarding your upcoming proctored assessments, including the assessment restrictions and necessary verification on external devices, such as audio and video.
Compatibility Check for the Desktop Lockdown App
Run a compatibility check before starting your proctored assessment to ensure your device works with the Verity Desktop Lockdown App. You must download the Verity Lockdown App before completing this compatibility check.
- Launch the Lockdown App on your desktop.
- Click Click Here.
- Enter the ID of your assessment and click Start Check to check if your device is compatible with the proctoring requirements of your assessment.
Note: If you do not have the assessment ID, you can click Run All Checks to ensure your device meets all requirements. - Follow the steps in the Proctoring Readiness Check to complete a series of compatibility checks, including General, System Check, Recording, Room Scan, ID Check, and Applying Limits.
- Once the checks are completed, click Compatibility Report to review the compatibility report.
- Review the compatibility report to ensure that all failed checks are resolved before starting an assessment.
