Performing a comprehensive pre-assessment compatibility check allows you to understand additional proctoring details regarding your upcoming proctored assessments, including the assessment restrictions and necessary verification on external devices, such as audio and video.
Compatibility Check for the Desktop Lockdown Module
Run a compatibility check before starting your proctored assessment to ensure your device works with the Verity Desktop Lockdown Module. You must download the Verity Lockdown Module before completing this compatibility check.
- Launch the Verity Lockdown on your desktop.
- Click Click Here.
- Enter the ID of your assessment and click Start Check to check if your device is compatible with the proctoring requirements of your assessment.
- Follow the steps in the Proctoring Readiness Check to complete a series of compatibility checks.
- Once the checks are completed, click Compatibility Report to review the compatibility report.
- Review the compatibility report to ensure that all failed checks are resolved before starting an assessment.
