You can create video quizzes for any uploaded videos. After the quiz closes, you can view responses in the Grade Book. Additionally, you can also create a playback quiz that awards points based on the percentage watched.
Creating a Video Quiz
- Log in to the Video Platform.
- Click Manage Media on the top navbar to view a list of your media files.
- Hover over the video that you want to create a video quiz for and select More... from the on-hover menu.
Note: You cannot create a quiz for other media files such as images, audio, or documents. - In the Media Details window, select Quizzes from the side navbar.
- Click + Create Video Quiz.
- Enter a Quiz Name for your video quiz.
- Click the Play icon to play the video.
- Navigate to the specific timestamp where you want to add a quiz question and click the Pause icon to pause the video.
- Click Add Question to insert a question at that timestamp of the video.
- Select a question type for your quiz question, including Multiple Choice, Select Multiple, Short Answer, True or False, Reflective Pause, Decision Point, and Fill-in-the-Blanks.
- Enter the Points and Question in the Add Question window.
Note: Learn more about using LaTex to create mathematic questions. - Enter the answer options according to your question type: Multiple Choice, Select Multiple, Short Answer, True or False, Reflective Pause, Decision Point, and Fill-in-the-Blanks.
- Click Add to add the question.
- After adding all questions, click Settings to customize the video quiz settings, including Quiz Options, Playback Credit Options, and Gradebook Options. Then click Save.
- Click Save to save it as a drafted video quiz on the Video Platform.
- (Optional) Click Post and select your course to publish the video quiz to your course.
