Enhanced Audio Descriptions in a video temporarily pause playback to deliver detailed scene narrations, providing context for individuals who require additional support in understanding the content.
Accessing the Enhanced Audio Description Feature
- Log in to the Video Platform and click Manage Media to view your media files.
- Hover over the video that you want to add Enhanced Audio Descriptions to, then select More... from the hover menu.
- In the Media Details window, select Accessibility from the side Menu and then select the Audio Description tab.
- Next, select the Enhanced Audio Description tab. From here, you can add enhanced descriptions in one of the following ways:
- Upload: Upload an SRT or VTT file to add Enhanced Audio Descriptions.
- Generate: Use AI to generate Enhanced Audio Descriptions.
- Create: Manually create an Enhanced Audio Description file using our built-in editor.
Managing an Enhanced Audio Description
You can edit, regenerate, or delete an Enhanced Audio Description to keep it up-to-date or remove it if no longer needed.
- Log in to the Video Platform and click Manage Media to view your media files.
- Hover over the video that you want to add Enhanced Audio Descriptions to, then select More... from the hover menu.
- In the Media Details window, select Accessibility from the side Menu and then select the Audio Description tab.
- Select the Enhanced Audio Description tab.
- Locate the Enhanced Audio Description you want to edit and click the More Actions icon.
- Select one of the following options on how you would like to manage the Enhanced Audio Description:
- Edit: Open the description in the editor to make changes.
- Regenerate: Use AI to regenerate a new set of enhanced descriptions.
- Delete: Permanently remove the Enhanced Audio Description.
