Once you have integrated Panorama into D2L Brightspace, as an admin, you can install the Panorama D2L Brightspace Visualizer. This allows you to access Panorama content within D2L Brightspace, such as Alternative Formats and Accessibility Reports.
Granting Your Role Access to Enable D2L Extensions
Before installing the Panorama Visualizer extension, you have to grant access to your role to enable the extension option in D2L Brightspace.
- Click the Settings icon in the top navigation bar.
- Under Security, click Roles and Permissions.
- Click the current role of your account.
- In the Filter by Tool field, select Brightspace Extensions and click Apply Filter.
- Check all the items in the Organization column and Click Save.
Enabling D2L Brightspace Extensions
Enabling an organization tool allows it to be visible and manageable to the members within your organization. You can enable the Brightspace Extensions tool to allow users within your organization to manage the extensions.
- Click the Settings icon in the top navigation bar.
- Under Organization Related, click Organization Tools.
- Switch on the Brightspace Extensions toggle to enable the extension.
Obtaining the Visualizer Information from Panorama
To install the Panorama extension into D2L Brightspace, you have to obtain your visualizer information from the Panorama platform.
- In Panorama, click Configuration > Integration Settings in the side navigation panel.
- In the Select Integration drop-down menu, select LMS Visualizer.
- In the Visualizer Information section, copy the values in the Server URL, Panorama ID, and CDN URL fields. After copying the values, proceed to the next section of this guide.
Installing the YuJa Panorama Brightspace Extension
To integrate Panorama Visualizer with D2L Brightspace, you have to install it as an extension and set up deployment by entering the visualization information obtained from Panorama.
- Click the Settings icon in the top navigation bar.
- Under Organization Related, click Manage Extensibility.
- Click the Extensions tab and click Find Extensions to search for new extension.
- Click YuJa Panorama > Install Extension.
- After installing Panorama extension, click Manage in the Extensions page.
- Under the Deployments section, click Add Deployments to go to the Create Deployment page.
- In the Create Deployment page, paste the copied value from Panorama into the Server URL, Panorama ID, and CDN URL fields correspondingly.
- Under Availability, select Entire Organization to install the Panorama extension for all members of your organization, or select Org Unit to install it for members of a specific unit or team.
Note: It is recommended to select the Entire Organization deployment option to grant all users access to Panorama content. - Switch on the toggle to set it to Enabled and click Save.
