Admins can integrate their EqualGround platform into WordPress as a plugin to help identify accessibility issues as pages are created in real time.
Downloading the EqualGround Plugin
- Open the EqualGround platform in a browser and log in as an admin.
- From the left-side navigation menu, click Configurations and then select Integration Settings.
- Under the Select Integration drop-down menu, select WordPress Plugin.
- Click Download Plugin. The equalground-wordpress-plugin.zip file will download to your device.
- Finally, copy your Identifier Key and proceed to the next section of this guide.
Adding the EqualGround Plugin to WordPress
- Open WordPress in your browser and log in.
- From the left-side navigation menu, select Plugins.
- Click Add New Plugin.
- Click Upload Plugin.
- Click Choose File and select the equalground-wordpress-plugin.zip file.
- Click Install Now.
- Click Activate Plugin.
- From the left-side navigation menu, select the newly added EqualGround tab.
- Fill out the information as shown below:
- Organization Identifier Key: The Identifier Key that was copied in the previous section of this guide.
- Environment: Select the Zone which you're in. If you're unsure of your zone, please contact your Client Success Manager.
- Click Save Changes to complete the process. You can now use EqualGround to view accessibility issues within WordPress.
