Admins can export Panorama reports and upload them to PowerBI to create visual analytics from their data.
Exporting a Panorama Report
- Access your Panorama platform and click on Reports from the left-side navigation menu.
- Select your desired report.
- At the top right, click Export Report.
- Export the report using the options listed below.
- Type: Download.
- Format: Excel or JSON. In this guide, we'll be using an Excel format.
- Click Submit to download the report. Once downloaded, you can proceed to the next section of this guide.
Uploading a Panorama Report into PowerBI Desktop
Before proceeding with the steps below, please ensure you have downloaded PowerBI.
- Launch the PowerBI desktop application.
- Click Excel workbook and select your panorama report.
- Use the checkboxes to select the tables you want to import and click Load. Optional: You can edit a table by selecting it and clicking Transform Data.
- Next, select a chart from the Visualizations pane that you'd like to use to represent your data. In this guide, we'll be using the line chart.
- Select your table from the data pane to view its columns.
- Drag the columns into the X-axis and Y-axis fields in the Visualizations pane. Your data will be imported into the chart, creating a visual representation. - Once you're satisfied with your visual charts, you can export them as a PDF. Click File.
- Select Export and then click PDF.
